Description & More Photos

This 1967 Mercedes-Benz comes from a long-term owner, a well-known architect based in San Diego, California. He is downsizing his collection, which is the reason for the sale.

Affectionately known as “Bon Bon,” as reflected in its license plate, the car appears to have covered 125,000 actual miles. It has a four-speed automatic transmission and a dark tan removable hardtop. Its original factory Mercedes-Benz soft top is still with the car and remains in very nice condition – a testament to its limited use and high level of care.

The upholstery on the seats, dash, door panels, and elsewhere also appears to be original and supports the low mileage. That degree of interior preservation is unusual in a car approaching 60 years old and is one of the more interesting aspects of this Mercedes.

It is solid and rust-free, retaining its original floorboards. It has been well cared for throughout its life and runs and drives very nicely.

The photographs on this page show the car in detail and include copies of some recent service records.
