1979 930 preservation car SOLD 2015, Thank You Mr. B
Very original and just out of a physician's collection. All original labels and stickers are intact. The leather covered dash has not severely shrunk and buckled like on many. The service file is included and all services are up to date.
It is difficult to find a 930 which has not suffered significant modifications. This one has a few but they are all limited to items that can easily be reversed. Most all of the original components from the exhaust system to the headlight bezels are included (sport exhaust is in place now)!

1965 356C Cabriolet - All Original Survivor SOLD 2015, Thank you Mr. V!
I've learned the hard way to disbelieve stories of 50 year-old cars with original paint. Most folks simply do not know how rare that is nor how to look at a car and tell the difference between a 30 or 40 year-old re-paint and factory original. After a very long search I've found it. We started it after it had sat in a garage for over 20 years (watch the video from the photo page). Easy reconditioning required to drive.
Purchased from the second owner who
had had it since about 1973.
All numbers matching per data card from Porsche
Black plate California
Original leather upholstered seats (also per data card)
Original carpet
All 5 wheels dated 3/64
All original body panels with number stamps
All original labels, stickers, etc.
Original paint
Please go to the photo page (click on the photo above) for much more detailed information.

1986 Carrera coupe - original survivor!
- SOLD, Thanks Jeff!
Finding a 26 year old Porsche in
substantially original, unsullied condition is quite unusual. Even rarer is one
that has escaped nearly three decades with only about 60,000 real miles and
without a repaint. This one even has all of its original leather that is still
soft and supple and an interior that smells new inside. It is not technically a
show car since it is street driven but it hardly has even a ding on it.
I sold this Carrera to its second owner in 2001 when it only had 35k miles. It
came from a collector who had a 27 car collection and was downsizing at that
time. Then recently my client came to me since he had other priorities for the
money and it entered my stable once again.
The next challenge is to find an example that will pass a technical inspection
by a Porsche specialist like this one does; from an independent Porsche shop’s
report:
Cylinder leak down test:
1-2% 2-6% 3-4% 4-4% 5-3% 6-2% (all excellent with very clean spark plugs).
Fuel filter was replaced 6-09 @ 58267 miles. Removed and back flushed filter and
sample was completely clear with no dirt or moisture. Records indicate a full
service and alternator replacement was done at that time.
Brakes are in overall excellent condition. Rotor surface is very smooth and
brakes do not look to ever have been used aggressively. Caliper dust boots look
good for their and are not torn or cracked open.
Front; rotors 22.90 mm, (min. 22.10mm/new 24mm) pads 8.2mm (min 2mm/new 10mm)
Rear; rotors 23.10mm (min. 22.10mm/new 24mm) pads 7.8 mm (min 2mm/new 10mm)
Brake fluid measures 2% moisture and as a preventative measure should be
replaced within the next 6 months.
A/C was converted to R-134a on 9/6/2008 and was last charged on 7-23-2010 @
60,715 miles
The technician commented that this Porsche drives as if it was four years old
and it was 1990 again. He also indicated that: the car has never been abused,
engine running and drivability are excellent hot and cold and the transmission
shifting and clutch operations are flawless. Service records are included.

1958 356A cabriolet SOLD
53
year old restored cars are easy to come by. Time-Warp originals are quite rare.
This one owner doctor’s car from Burbank, California was an original survivor
that has had a sympathetic restoration to about as perfect as human hands can
manage. What sets this car apart from most old restored cars is the fact that
much of the car remains as it left the factory. ALL of the sheet metal is
original to this car – YES, even the floorboards, longitudinal and jack ports.
This is possible as this car was never, ever crashed or rusted. The closing gaps
are all as per factory. All numbers are matching – ALL of them. Also original is
the cardboard battery cover, the glove box liner, the knobs and door hardware,
took kit, wiring harness, fuse box, jack (with chassis number written in grease
pencil), soft top boot, full tonneau cover, date coded wheels and both black
California license plates. If you lift up the floor mats you will find
absolutely original tar coated sound mats. The hood and engine cover are stamped
with two and three digits respectively of the chassis number as was factory
custom. The 68,652 total miles are documented by the comprehensive set of
service records (upon which is recorded the mileage and license number). During
the recent restoration the paint was taken down to the bare metal revealing the
original factory lead work. The engine was expensively rebuilt about 2000 miles
ago by none other than the legendary Lighthill Motors.

1973 1/2 911T Coupe SOLD
This is the desirable '73 1/2 model with the Bosch CIS injected motor, one of the most reliable Porsches you can buy. Still light and nimble without the heavy bumpers that grew there by '74. This is a very original car with just a single owner for the last 21 years. The service file comes with it and there has been just one Porsche shop work on it in that 21 years. Of course it is rust and accident free. This is really a straight, honest car that will please even the fussiest Porsche enthusiast. It has great Factory options: Air conditioning, "S" Brakes, "S" Trim & Sport Seats! The color is "Gulf" Blue. This color was made famous due to Gulf Oil's sponsorship of Porsche's racing effort in the 1970's. During that era all Gulf Oil sponsored Porsche racing cars were painted this color. This car is the very same color as Steve McQueen's character's 917 racing car in the movie LeMans. See photo pages: A B C Undercarriage
