Our client brought us his sound daily-driver 280SL a few years ago for improvements. After many shop labor hours, new materials and factory parts, the results speak for themselves.
After a portfolio evaluation recently, our client finds himself in a situation where, reluctantly, the car is offered to its next caretaker. Only maintenance and run-in miles have been completed (about 600).
The course of restoration is generally the most expensive route to a world-class automobile—purchasing one already restored, is generally the lowest cost option.
