Original carpet always has black molded rubber binding around the shifter.

Above is a shot of the rare 3rd seat option.  (seatbelts can easily be added)

Third seat in the folded down position (great for grocery bags, golf clubs or Fido)

This is a correct engine bay with all of the original type finishes.  Even the "unobtainium" firewall insulation pad is still there with its unique embossed pattern.

The two photos just below show the correct, original headlight notches on the inboard side of the front fenders.
These factory features are missing on many cars today.

The two photos below show the factory original and correct spot-welds at the tops of the front fenders.

This is an absolutely rust-free car.  All of the factory undercoating is still intact.

To the left you can see a close up of the
cosmoline which the factory applied over top
of the rough undercoat.  It is a root-beer
colored waxy substance.

Above shows the coded paint blotches
applied at the factory to the springs.

Above is a shot of a front wheelhouse
showing the factory drain crease.

Yes, correct inner fenders or wheelhouses
are body color - not black.
(except on a black car)
Enlarge the photo to the right and you will
see a ridge of 'chip guard" (a type of
undercoat) that was added at the factory
to help prevent rock chips.

It will either exhibit as a ridge or a
rough texture.

On cars that have had the fenders
worked by a body shop this may
be missing.

The rocker panels have a rough texture chip
guard and are affixed with Philips head
screws.  Factory correct specification is
always satin-gloss black.

You should not see pop-rivets, slotted screw
heads or this area filled in with cookie
dough, aka Bondo.
