This appears to be a totally original green fabric covered
hose. They have not been in production for years but I believe "The
Roadster Factory" now has a supply of reproductions.
Ancient "Auto Reverse" AM/FM Cassette player. The
radio sounds great. I have not tried a CD....errr cassette.
This was probably dealer installed.
Here is a bit of Triumph trivia. I found this clip and
warning label tucked behind the seatbelt retracting unit. It is difficult
to read the label but it says: "WARNING: DO NOT
REMOVE CLIP UNTIL BELT IS ASSEMBLED IN VEHICLE". I presume that this
would have been removed when the belt was installed by the workman at British
Leyland. I have never seen one before. I am sure that 99.999% were
thrown away. This one lasted hidden away for 29 years.
Not the best photo but this is how the door seals came
originally. They had a color coded velour type material behind the black
rubber part. This piece extends all the way up the windshield
"A" pillar. The ones you can by now come only in black.
In the trunk are the original soft top and frame, boot cover and
tonneau cover. Yes the soft top is still in good condition. I am
told by the original owner that he only drove the car "top down" on
nice days.
Original belt, buckle and bag for the lug wrench.
